Clinical Services

The FUAZ Veterinary Teaching Clinic serves dual functions: it is the primary clinical training facility for our veterinary students, and it operates as a fully functional animal hospital open to the public and surrounding agricultural communities.

Facilities & Capabilities

  • Surgical Theatres: Equipped for both major soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures on large livestock.
  • Diagnostic Pathology: Advanced laboratories for swift blood work, disease screening, and tissue analysis.
  • Equine & Bovine Stalls: Intensive care and recovery enclosures for horses, cattle, and sheep.
Emergency Services: The clinic operates a 24/7 emergency response unit. Pastoral farmers within Kebbi state requiring urgent field-surgical intervention can call the emergency hotline directly.
