Primary Healthcare
The FUAZ Health Centre is a fully equipped primary healthcare facility staffed by resident medical doctors, registered nurses, and laboratory technicians. It is NHIS-accredited and provides free immediate medical consultations for all officially registered students.
Available Services
- Outpatient Clinic: Daily consultations for malaria, typhoid, and other common ailments.
- Laboratory Services: Rapid diagnostic tests, blood work, and urinalysis.
- Pharmacy: A fully stocked dispensary providing prescribed medications.
- Ambulance Unit: For immediate referral of severe cases to the Federal Medical Centre.
Medical Registration: To access the university clinic, all new students must complete their mandatory medical screening (including chest X-rays) during the orientation week.
