Role of the Registrar
The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative work of the University except in financial matters. The Registrar serves as the Secretary to the Governing Council, the Senate, Convocation, and Congregation.
Core Units
- Academic / Senate Affairs: Manages student admissions, examinations, and graduation processes.
- Directorate of Human Resources: Oversees senior and junior staff establishment, recruitment, welfare, and staff development programmes.
- Council Affairs: Coordinates the activities of the Governing Council and its sub-committees.
Transcript Requests: All academic transcript requests are to be directed to the Senate Affairs unit under the Registry via the online portal. Walk-in requests are no longer processed physically.
