Director's Biography
Dr. Aliyu Muhammad was born in Zuru, Kebbi State, Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto in 1997 and 2011 respectively. He served with the Kebbi State Ministry of Education from 2000 to 2007, before transferring his service to Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero in 2007.
Dr. Aliyu Muhammad obtained his PhD in Analytical/Environmental Chemistry from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2017. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at the Federal University of Agriculture Zuru, Kebbi State, and serves as the Director of Academic Planning (DAP) at FUAZ.

Key Responsibilities
- NUC Accreditation & Resource Verification: Coordinating national accreditation exercises and resource verification visits by the National Universities Commission (NUC) across all university colleges.
- Curriculum & Academic Programmes: Facilitating the design, approval, and periodic review of academic curricula for undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma offerings.
- Senate Operations Liaison: Working closely with the University Senate to formulate academic policies, regulate calendars, and monitor academic performance standards.
- Institutional Statistics & Data Intelligence: Collating and analyzing student enrollment, staff-to-student ratios, and academic growth metrics for decision support.

Mr. Bashar Alhassan

Mr. Bashar Alhassan was born on 1st June, 1988 in Shinkafi LGA, Zamfara State. He obtained his B.Sc. in Education (Mathematics) from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (2010), and served at Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State from 2014 to 2022 before joining FUAZ.

Mr. Suleiman Buba Bayo

Born on 5th May 1989 in Biryel, Bayo LGA of Borno State. Attended Guburnde Primary School (1999) and GSSSS Biu (2005). Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Maiduguri (2012) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma. Serving as Planning Officer I at FUAZ since March 2022.
