Student Leadership
The Student Union Government (SUG) acts as the bridge between the university management and the student populace. The SUG advocates for student welfare, mediates conflicts, and organizes massive socio-cultural events on campus.
Executive Branches
The SUG operates on a democratic structure comprising:
- The Executive Council: Led by the SUG President and cabinet ministers (Welfare, Sports, Finance, etc.).
- The Students' Representative Council (SRC): The legislative arm populated by elected senators from every academic department.
- The Judicial Council: The student court responsible for interpreting the SUG constitution and settling inter-student disputes.
Election Notice: The electoral ban for the 2024/2025 academic session has been officially lifted by the Dean of Students' Affairs. Campaigns must align with university guidelines.
