Responsibilities
The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University and is accountable to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University. The Bursary oversees budgeting, procurement validation, staff payroll, and student fee collection.
Payment Protocols
FUAZ operates a strict cashless policy via the Federal Treasury Single Account (TSA) network. No cash payments should be made to any staff member or ad-hoc agent for any university service.
- All school fees must be paid through the Remita platform via the student portal.
- Vendors must be fully registered with the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) before submitting invoices to the Bursary.
